Ramen
Day 2 in Japan. We went to Yokohama today for a special time in a special place. Aside from the long walks, carrying Caleb’s stroller, and climbing the mountain of the Japan Metro, we were at Yokohama’s Pier and The Ramen Museum. Nothing much at the pier, expect this small art concept cafe nearby. There was this exhibition by a French Artist where people would dine on this HUGE pinic table, HUGE wine and water glasses, HUGE fork and knives, HUGE food, and whatever else that is on the table is HUGE! The bread is like 200cm long and apparently the 6 Japanese ladies that took place could finish it! So after that, we went to shin-yokohama, where the ramenmuseum was. The place was quite interesting with a world war II kind of feel inside, where the place is built on the concept of during the war age and sound of sirens and bombs exploding at every other corner. The only sad things about the place is that everything is in Japanese, so ya… but nonetheless, the Ramen was awesome! There were lots of ramen store around but the queues provided a good indicators which served the better ramens. After that, we manage to find time to visit the shopping areas for a few hours and head home. So basically that is day 2. Tomorrow will be FISH MARKET DAY! YAY!! Here comes the blue fin tune…
